EMOTIONS ARE HIGH AS BINDI BREAKS HER SILENCE
'STEVE WOULDM'T WANT THIS!'

Since Steve Irwin’s tragic death in 2006, rumours have swirled about a deep-seated feud between his dad, Bob, and widow, Terri – and last week, things took a very public and emotional new twist!

The dispute suddenly escalated when Bindi shared an Instagram post on Father’s Day in the US, paying tribute to her late father, her husband, Chandler Powell, and her father-in-law, Chris.

One fan asked Bindi why she left her grandfather, Bob, out of the tribute – and the 22-year-old did not hold back with her reply!

Bindi went on to accuse Bob, 82, of years of “psychological abuse” in the unexpectedly blunt response.

“Unfortunately my grandfather has shown no interest in spending time with me or my family,” she sprayed on Facebook.

“He has never said a single kind word to me personally. It breaks my heart, but it is not healthy to engage in an abusive relationship.

“I have struggled with this relationship my entire life and it brings me enormous pain,” she added, before revealing Bob had even returned gifts her family had sent him.

Insiders tell New Idea Steve would be “devastated” by the ongoing issues with the family. “Steve was always family first ... he wouldn’t have wanted this at all.

“This situation is truly complicated and everybody involved has their own experience. Terri, knows a lot more than what has been publicly said,” the source adds.

It’s no secret that following his son’s untimely death, Bob fell out with Oregonborn Terri, 56, over a difference of opinion regarding Australia Zoo’s operations.
