In October 2016, Power Source Country welcomed a new host. Marshall Stewart, celebrates his twenty-third year in radio this month, and I thought it was a great time to sit down and get to know the radio host.
I can tell you he was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, likes to vacation on the beach in Florida, and his favorite city is Washington D.C. If he’s going to do dinner and a movie, it’s probably going to involve Mexican food and a Tom Hanks film. Downtime at home might include some NCIS on the television or some Martina McBride on the radio. Marshall, who describes himself as shy, agreed to show us a more personal side with a little more Q & A.
What are some of your life goals?
Marshall: Lately, I’ve made it a goal to get my body as healthy as I can. I’ve been inspired by my wife finishing a half-marathon last year and am looking forward to both of us getting ourselves in shape. Obviously, my ultimate goal is to be the man God has called me to be. I spend every day trying to reach that goal in all aspects of my life.
If you weren’t in radio what would you probably be working as?
Something that has to do with computers and software. I actually went to college for computer programming.

Aaron & Amanda Crabb Releases Restore
Restoration often emerges from the unlikeliest of places. For Aaron & Amanda Crabb, it’s come in the form of planting and leading a church, as well as in the unexpected joy of welcoming a fourth child — not to mention recording a brand new album. In the three years since the release of their Dove-nominated Difference Media debut, Mercy, the couple has experienced tremendous change and immense growth. It’s something they readily acknowledge as part of God’s ultimate vision, and a direct catalyst for their much-anticipated new project, Restore.
