Data analytics can transform a business, but not many Asian companies are tapping on its potential. Entrepreneur Arijit Sengupta tells Hong Xinyi how he is trying to change this
ARIJIT SENGUPTA CAME TO Singapore in 2009 with big dreams. The founder of data analytics firm Antuit was born and raised in India, and built his career in the US. His return to Asia was driven partly by personal reasons—his wife is Singaporean—and partly by the allure of the region’s commercial potential. “In terms of demographics and the growth of technology, this is going to be the most exciting market,” he declares. “I believe Asia is going to be a long game. The opportunities are enormous. My mission since moving here has been to build a truly compelling global business based in Singapore.”
