Technology Occupies the Driver’s Seat in Tata’s Hexa.
First showcased at the Geneva Motor Show 2015 as a concept, the technology-driven Hexa is Tata’s answer in the premium SUV segment that takes on the competition with better design. We got behind the wheels recently, putting the Hexa through its paces – taking it for a spin, diving through a crater-size pothole and climbing up a steep hill. You get the hint, right?
Tata cars – majority of them – are built for purpose more than form. However, this time, with Hexa, Tata takes a different approach. This is its second vehicle, after Tiago, which boasts ‘Impact’ design language.
The form of an SUV is very important and Hexa makes no mistake with its aggressive stance, helped along nicely with its 19-inch alloy wheel with its muscular wheel-arch cladding. The front of the car sports a dual-coloured bumper, the signature Tata grille with chrome accents, projector headlamps and a smoked effect. A dual-tone rear bumper and chrome twin exhausts complete the styling at the back. Long story short, the Hexa looks stylish and very well-designed.
