Nandani Patel: Glamorous

INTRODUCTION I'm Nandani Patel, I am very passionate about modeling, its neither just a hobby nor simply a profession, modeling is one of the ways I am able to show my creative side. I am a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and a certified Zumba instructor, so you can say I love being active.

I also try my hand at painting from time to time. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to work at a local TV net-work IND TV USA & Diya TV from California. I have also been on the cover of Jagdarpan a local magazine and have been featured in shooters magazine. I have walked the Ramp for many Designers like the Bollywood closet for Sabyasachi, Natasha fashion house, and Cocoa jeans many more.

I have worked with some amazing photographers in the industry like William David creative, Harry Romana, Tommy B, NRV photography, Atin photography, BR media solutions, and many more. Being part of my community and close to my culture is very important to me so I try to involve myself in all types of cultural events. I am closely involved with purbasha Bengali association here in Atlanta.

Being creative is a way of life for me. I find the art in everything, for me, fashion is like being comfortable in your own skin.

Enlighten India: Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model?

Nandani Patel: I am an artistic soul who loves being in front of the camera. A talent agency in New York reached out to me for an ad campaign about 10 years ago and that is where it all started. I found myself truly enjoying modeling and loved creating new work with different creative teams. I love dancing for the same reason, it gives me pure artistic freedom to express and explore myself.

Enlighten India: What is your greatest strength, as a model?

Nandani Patel: I’m extremely confident in front of the camera and I take immense pride in the work I do. My biggest strength is my ability to believe in myself.
