No Wonder We Love Talking About the Weather – It's Forever Changing

THE weather has and always will be a talking point for us living in the Emerald Isle. I accept it may not be the most stimulating of topics but let’s face it, we love it.

Whether we are making idle chit chat or in genuine discussion, the climate is a great conversation starter, in-betweener and ender. Plus I’ll be the fi rst to admit that discussing the weather has got me out of many an awkward moment.

As I sat down to write my weekly diary entry this week, I could think of little else to write about given the mixed weather bag that we have been exposed to over the past week.

Late on Monday evening, I was surprised when I met the gritter out on the roads - was it really that cold? But sure enough on Tuesday morning, we woke up to fi nd a heavy coating of frost across the country. As I defrosted my car windows, it seemed that winter was never going to end.
