ReSustain, a platform developed by your company, enables organizations for a collaborative approach to sustainability. Could you elaborate more on this?
ReSustain platform is a performance management system that can be used effectively using its various collaboration features, such as team sharing and collaborative reporting that enable a collaborative team approach to sustainability. The platform has various modules, such as environmental health and safety (EHS), supply chain, corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability performance, and reporting. It enables tracking of various types of indicators and supports linkages with business indicators, such as costs, investments, etc. It can be effectively leveraged to track circularity indicators at company level, facility level, and production line level, thereby enabling data-driven sustainability strategy.
Please discuss the concept of the CSR Law that could help organizations to give back to society and create a safe and secure future ecosystem for the businesses to thrive.
CSR law has come a long way quickly in getting Indian enterprises to commit time, money, and resources to giving back to the society. A passionate and committed ecosystem is emerging, driven by enterprises, NGOs, consultants/ subject matter experts, think tanks, social entrepreneurs, and technology providers. The need of the hour is to strengthen this ecosystem to measure performance and impact. This is possible by leveraging technology to collaborate with all stakeholders and execute CSR programmes and initiatives, technology platforms can help launch, measure, manage, account for, and report performance and impact of these initiatives. The CSR Law should be approached not as a regulatory mandate but an opportunity to align the enterprise’s strategy to its larger purpose.
