WE’RE a sizable chunk of the way into the Football League season now but one name supporters won’t have heard pop up is Ishmael Miller.
Miller is still just 30 years old and has been involved in professional football for 12 years, having graduated from Manchester City’s academy in 2005.
The 6ft 3in striker has played for nine clubs in that time and last season plied his trade at League One Bury, whom he joined in October 2016.
Yet he only made three substitute appearances for the club and was deemed surplus to requirements when manager Lee Clark took over, eventually being released from his contract in May.
But with no news of a new club filtering through, what of the fate of the ex-West Brom man?

“I’ve had a few offers, some in England and some abroad,” explained Miller. “But I’m at that stage now, I’m 30 years old and I want to carry on playing but it’s got to be right for my family.
