Weston’s belief is fronting Fleet bid

MANY prayers have been uttered by those battling relegation over the years but Myles Weston’s devotions are no emergency SOS – they’re a way of life.

The Ebbsfleet United winger is a committed Christian whose relationship with God underpins everything he does on and off the pitch.

And Weston, whose inspired performances have helped drag Fleet back from what looked a hopeless position in the National League, says he’s never felt stronger: physically, mentally or spiritually.

“It’s about faith and knowing that when you go through tough times, you’re going to get out of them,” he said.

“I used to hate going to Sunday School when I was younger but now my relationship with God is a lot stronger. Praying and reading the Bible are two things that definitely keep me going.

Strength “When it comes to religion, everyone has opinions but you shouldn’t let them affect you. It should be your relationship with God which is the strength of your whole life.
