Wood haven’t lost in the league since October 26 and it has catapulted them into the promotion conversation in a big way.Hot-shot Thsimanga scored his 16th of the season on 73 minutes and although Yeovil were protesting in the aftermath, the goal stood and led to the hosts leapfrogging the Glovers.
Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard said: “I’m very pleased with the win. Tshimanga took the goal very well in a game of few chances. The conditions had a lot to do with the quality of the game.”
Not helped by the windy conditions, it was a game low on quality with very few clear cut chances, especially in the first half.
