Try ace Jake cashes in after Marshall floored

Wigan old boy George Williams watched his new side make a winning return to action, helped by a controversial Jake Mamo try.

Mamo’s 63rd-minute try gave Steve Price’s side a two-score lead for the first time in a pulsating contest.

But Wigan were incensed that the ex-Huddersfield star was allowed to race 80 metres with two-try winger Liam Marshall on the floor.

The Warriors winger took a blow to the head after being caught by a stray boot from former team-mate Josh Charnley challenging for a loose ball.
