In a related development, Eric Domingo, the chief of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), announced on Wednesday they granted the emergency use authorisation (EUA) of 100,000 doses of Hayat-Vax COVID vaccines donated by the United Arab Emirates to the country.
“The FDA issued today an EUA to the vaccines donated by the UAE,” Domingo reported.
“The vaccine is identified with the Sinopharm vaccine from China that is included in the WHO-EUL (World Health organisation Emergency Use Listing.”
Domingo explained that the 100,000 doses of Hayat-Vax COVID vaccine are essentially from China but are produced at the UAE.
