Over 50,000 Youth Helped UAE Community During Pandemic

In light of the spread of the pandemic at a rapid pace, the responsibility of UAE’s youth to protect society increases, says official

ABU DHABI

The UAE Government said over 50,000 youth volunteers helped the UAE community during the coronavirus pandemic.

Saeed Al Nazari, Director General of the Federal Youth Authority, said, “During the crisis, youth volunteers exceeded 50,000, working to serve the community, through various places and time; whether in hospitals, quarantine centres, testing centres, airports, ports, and malls and via various campaigns.”

In light of the current global challenges and the spread of the pandemic at an accelerated pace, the responsibility of UAE’s youth to protect society increases.

Nazari said, “We are confident that the youth have the power to overcome the crisis and find practical solutions to contribute together in building a healthy and strong Emirati society.”

The UAE’s youth are capable of providing a comprehensive and integrated healthcare for all of society in innovative and sustainable ways, and of contributing in providing the highest levels of healthcare as per the international standards for quality.
