The year 2023 has been better than the rest for travel junkies. According to the Passport Index, a global benchmark that evaluates passport strength, India's 137th rank made it accessible for citizens to travel without a visa to 23 countries and have visa-on-arrival access to 49 nations. Adding to the good news, several countries announced visa waivers for Indian tourists, increasing the number of destinations people can explore without the additional cost of the permit (and paperwork).
