Unnao re-run? Chinmayanand accused by a law student in up
After immense pressure from the media, the Uttar Pradesh police registred an FIR against former Union minister and BJP leader Swami Chinmayanand as a law student went missing days after accusing him of sexual harassment. The student who went missing from her college hostel in Shahjahanpur has now been traced in Delhi.
On August 24, the woman had posted a video on social media claiming that she had proof which could land Chinmayanand in trouble and alleged that due to this, the BJP leader threatened her and her family. However, Chinmayanan told the police that he is being blackmailed.
In the video, the girl requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to help her and save the life of her family.
