On Monday, NCP chief Sharad Pawar kept everyone guessing about the prospects of government formation with Congress and the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra.
On the one hand, where Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut claimed to India Today TV that government will be formed in the state “by the first week of December”, Sharad Pawar spun a googly at the waiting media in Parliament. When asked about Shiv Sena and government formation, Pawar retorted, “Why don’t you ask the BJP that? The two of them fought the polls together. BJP-Shiv Sena fought together, we [NCP] and Congress fought together. They have to choose their path and we will do our politics.”
