To encourage its citizens to get jabbed, Las Piñas, which has seen a spike in vaccination rates, is giving away prizes

To get vaccinated is a reward unto itself at a time when vaccine supply is still low, but the City of Las Piñas, in an effort to encourage its citizens to get jabbed, has upped their game with a program called “May Bahay sa Bakuna,” spearheaded by Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar. The promotion, “May Bahay sa Bakuna: Bakunado Ka Na, May Bahay Ka Pa,” will run until Dec. 15, open to all residents of the city who have received a single dose of any vaccine brand.

“We want to reinforce the importance of getting vaccinated for people, their families, and the community. It will not only protect people but help our economy slowly 2 recover,” Villar said, reiterating the position of health experts that vaccination is safe and essential to helping end the pandemic.
