‘Hospitalisation less, will review need for more curbs in Delhi'

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday said whether further Covid-related restrictions need to be imposed in the national Capital will be reviewed as hospital admissions are less, despite a rapid rise in coronavirus cases.

NEW DELHI: He also said that in view of the current situation, more than 3,000 beds have been prepared for children.

“Prevention is better than cure and people need to keep themselves safe at all times. It should be our responsibility to wear masks at all times whenever we are heading outside our homes, this will help us to stop the further spread of coronavirus,” Jain told reporters.

He asserted that the national Capital is fully prepared to inoculate children in the 15-18 age group against the Coronavirus. Vaccination for this category starts on January 3.
