KOLKATA: The Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) will take legal action against the director of the National Library and the chief engineer of the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) looking after the premier institution after mosquito larvae were found on the premises.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had instructed all the civic bodies to intensify anti-larvae drives to reduce the number of dengue cases.
It was decided to launch an awareness campaign against larvae borne diseases at the administrative review meeting in east Burdwan on Monday. A team of Kolkata Municipal Corporation ( KMC) team led by Deputy Mayor Atin Ghosh visited the National Library on Monday morning.
