Veteran dancers’ choreography works were presented by their disciples for Janmashtami
On the occasion of ‘Srikrishna Janmashtami’, a thematic presentation ‘Srikrishna Nartana Sobha’ in Kuchipudi style by disciples of gurus Rajyalakshmi Seth, sister of Uma Rao and their youngest sister Sumathi Kaushal was held at Shilparamam’s open-air stage on Saturday, the festival day.
Some of the compositions they presented were Uma’s choreographic works. All the Kuchipudi numbers were woven around Krishna. There were around 30 students who participated in the event.
