Deepak Chahar and Shivam Dube delivered with the ball as India defeated Bangladesh by 30 runs to win the series-deciding third and final T20I here on Sunday. The visitor seemed in control of a run chase of 175 when Dube intervened, taking three crucial wickets.

Chahar, who claimed a hat-trick to polish off the Bangladesh innings, finished with remarkable figures of six for seven from 3.2 overs, the best in T20 internationals. Bangladesh lost its last eight wickets for 34 runs as India won the series 2-1.

India went into the match with only five bowlers, having sacrificed Krunal Pandya for an extra batsman in Manish Pandey. It looked a terrible idea 13 overs into the Bangladesh innings, with the visitor needing 65 off the last 42 balls, with seven wickets in hand and the dew a big problem.
