Travelling across the southern Jat.belt in western Uttar Pradesh. anecdotal evidence suggests Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not as popular in the community as he was in 2014. The second phase of voting will be a test of the Jat mood, especially in Mathura. Fatehpur Sikri, Boland, Shahr, Hatbras and Aligarh.
