Alek to be Prem idol

In a clear warning to the rest of the Premier League, the Craven Cottage boss is convinced his already-prolific Serbian striker will only get better now he is back among the elite.

Two seasons ago, Mitrovic notched 11 league goals but was unable to save the Londoners from crashing straight back into the Championship.

But after the ex-Newcastle man, 26 earlier this month, opened his 2020-21 account with a double in last weekend’s 4-3 loss at Leeds, Parker is backing him to grab loads more goals this time round.
