On Wednesday, the third day since the drive’s launch, 36,394 first doses were administered, taking the total number of doses to 90,646. On Monday, 21,010 teens were jabbed. The number jumped by nearly 60% on Tuesday, with 33,242 teens getting inoculated.
The estimated number of beneficiaries in this category is around 10 lakh and Delhi government officials said that if between 30,000 and 35,000 doses are administered every day, the first dose coverage of the cohort should be complete by the end of January.
