New Delhi: Binod Kumar’s chemotherapy session at Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh on April 13 was abruptly cancelled after the hospital was turned into a full Covid facility. The 63-year-old anorectal cancer patient, under treatment since September last year, is in the grip of anxiety as he awaits information from the hospital.
Kumar’s son, advocate Kishore Kunal, said, “My father has to undergo chemotherapy in six sessions. According to the schedule prepared by doctors, he has to have been hospitalised for three days and then rest at home for two weeks. He has undergone two chemotherapy sessions and the third one was scheduled to begin on April 13. But on Monday, we were informed the session stood cancelled.”
