Hyderabad: Wondering whether some people are trying to enact a show off at the last minute to tell people they are champions of the weaker sections, the high court on Monday refused to stay the ongoing preparatory process for holding Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.
A bench of Chief Justice Raghvendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy said this while hearing a petition filed by Dasoju Sravan Kumar of Congress, seeking reservations to those politically backward communities which were scarcely represented in the political sphere.
