New Delhi: The government is preparing to launch a portal that proposes to enable online registration and tracking of applications with due safety precautions under the “PM-CARES for Children Scheme.” The scheme seeks to provide long term support to children who have lost both parents, surviving parent, legal guardian or adoptive parents due to Covid-19 since the pandemic gained momentum in March 2020.
