Each day of our lives we deposit memories in our child’s mind and a related famous proverb heard by most of us is “What we sow, so shall we reap”. We as human beings have got an important message to learn while being homebound which is to value every little thing especially our own life and the time with our family. Juggling between so many roles and duties, we were probably caught in a fire fighting zone to get things right till April 2020. This virtual era has been an eye-opener and has put a pause in our lives to seek their inner-self in a better way, along with encountering with their hidden talents, mindset changes, family bonding, and what not!
Being housebound for so long has taught us to turn towards our inner selves, and discover some life lessons—the biggest one being to enjoy the little things. Juggling between so many roles and responsibilities, we were probably caught in a fire fighting zone to get things right! This virtual era has been an eye-opener and has put a pause in our lives to seek their inner-self in a better way, along with encountering with their hidden talents, mindset changes, family bonding and what not.
Adjusting to this new ‘normal’ wasn’t normal at all, and has been the most challenging for all of us. Whether you are a home-maker or a working mum, you’ve had to find different and interesting ways to engage with their li’l ones—and it certainly wasn’t easy. Being a mum to a six-year-old and a three-year-old myself, I have faced a lot of these challenges. Hence, the creative, curious cat within me started looking out for solutions to overcome these challenges within the four walls of my home. These involve simple design ideas, and keep the kids busy at home while the you can heave a sigh of relief! After all, every challenge presents an opportunity to learn.
