Making It Work
Parents World|Issue 70

CEO and founder of Motherswork Sharon Wong shows you how to make motherhood work.

Making It Work

There are few mothers that epitomise the ‘mothers know best’ axiom more fittingly than Sharon Wong. Her sheer passion for making motherhood more streamlined and effective, coupled with over 25 years of expertise in building brands, has culminated in the creation of the Motherswork experience. Their reputation as the purveyor of tried-and-tested quality products for both mummy and baby has cemented their status as the one-stop solution to most motherhood woes.

Motherswork is everything Sharon believes in for her family and three children. Not only does she want the best for them, she also nurtures them to be the best. We take some time to quiz the busy supermum on her company and the values she wishes to imbue in her kids.

What is the greatest obstacle of managing Motherswork and three kids in tandem?

Time. With only 24 hours a day, there is not enough time. I learn to balance. Motherswork started as a hobby project and as my kids grew, it also evolved and eventually became a professional business in 2010, when my youngest was 10 years old. Time management is key.

How did Motherswork come about?
