Tracing movement inside the studio
As the world adjusted to Covid's limitations, most cultural institutions were forced to close their doors.
Theaters, dance companies, and artists are now reaching their audience by streaming live and producing videos to watch online. As a photographer of performances, I too needed to make some changes.
I brought a cinema projector to my studio and converted it into a screening room. While screening the show on my studio walls, I take pictures as it works in the real world, though this time, it is taken with a mediating tool.

Eitan Vitkon, specializes in long exposure and multi-frame photography since his architectural studies more than 2 decades ago. During the past 20 years, he has been obsessed with time and movement paradoxes, specifically in architectural perspectives.
Eitan has been combining his passion for architecture and photography.
The camera is an extension to his eye, tracing movement in architectural spaces while slowing downtime and durations into his works.
