Fujifilm cameras are known for their reliability and image quality, be it ‘stills’ or video. The Fujifilm X100V camera was announced in the first week of February 2020. The Company has several X100- series models and the X100V is the fifth. Let’s see how this lightweight, feature-filled camera turns out in our review.
Design & Build Quality
Finished in a beautiful black coat, the Fujifilm X100V is a fixed-lens mirrorless camera. However, conversion lenses are available as attachments as mentioned in the Key Features. The X100V shows good engineering design and looks attractive, but if you have owned/used some of the earlier models of Fujifilm cameras, you’ll notice that the four-way controller is missing and the button positions have changed. The top and bottom plates are milled from single pieces of aluminium for strength and clean, attractive edges. Optional accessory AR-X100 adapter ring with PRF 49 protection filter provides weather resistance to the camera. The camera is made in Japan.
