What made you passionate about this genre?
Like many landscape photographers, the beauty of nature itself drew me to try and capture a portion of it.
What according to you does it take to capture a great landscape photograph? Or, what is the differentiating factor between a simple and share-worthy shot?
To capture a great landscape photograph, you need the right combination of location, lighting and camera angle to correctly express your vision. A shot becomes “shareworthy” when it is able to evoke emotions in myself and in others as well.
Who are your favourite landscape photographers, and what have you learnt from them?
One of the many photographers I respect is Ansel Adams. I was deeply impressed with the simplicity of his images — the conception as well as their rich and luminous tonality.
