Yearning for that Perfect Sound!
Smart Photography|October 2020
Imaging, especially video, cannot be treated in isolation without considering its accompanying audio. Even a moment of silence is meaningless without the sound that precedes and succeeds it. An imaging publication like Smart Photography cannot ignore the importance of sound and audio products in the industry. Here we are, in a chat with Vipin Pungalia, Director, Professional Segment, Sennheiser India, who elaborates on the company’s journey in India.

Yearning for that Perfect Sound!

The major part of 2020 has been quite challenging for all businesses. How has the going been for Sennheiser in India?

This pandemic is disrupting the way the world is functioning today. We are facing an extremely challenging time as the entire ecosystem is quite volatile and dynamic in nature which has naturally impacted our business. Uncertainty has loomed large over brands, however we can mitigate the effects and come out of this period of abnormal operation stronger than ever. Due to the rise in content creation in India, professionals are increasingly investing in better audio quality products to enhance engagement with customers digitally. Sennheiser has always offered products which have been a perfect blend of great engineering and unmatched design, thereby making it one of the most trusted and desired brands in the country. We have invested in training professionals to cope up with the ever-changing requirements in the AV industry and have always been at the forefront when it comes to providing the latest technology and innovations to revolutionise the AV industry in India.

At a time when businesses are limping back to normalcy, how do you look at the growth or decline of audio segment in the country from a market standpoint?
