It’s very easy to envision the Residence de Labajouderie, and specifically apartment A10, as the perfect spot for me. Location is essential – I like the convenience of being somewhere with good transport connections and close to larger cities, but that still enjoys a charming small-town character feel, which Petite Cité de Caractère Confolens has in spades. It’s just a short drive away from Angoulême and Limoges, near Bordeaux, and catching a TGV from Angoulême can take me to Paris in just over one and a half hours.
