You can create history in many ways as this writer discovered…
It was a beautiful morning. Three of us - Swarupa, Pramila and I - were waiting to enter our administrator's chamber. I was a bit apprehensive about the meeting. We were to know the results of our interview and demo that we had attended for the post of a teacher in the prestigious institution, in Bengaluru.
This was the first time we were meeting Mr. Roshan Menezes, our administrator. A warm smile, bright eyes and a cheerful voice greeted us as we entered his chamber. After the initial introductions, he told us that we had been selected as teachers and handed over our appointment letters to us. Swarupa and Pramila were students of the school and also parents at present. Our administrator was very happy to learn that they were alumni of the school. He made one simple statement.
He told them, “You both have a history in the school. It's wonderful.” And turning to me, he said, “You will create history in the coming years. Isn't it?”
