A Price Tag, Am I?

Here is a price tag speaking about life… hear it out!

I get stapled on the basis of value. I'm a price tag and I either please someone, elicit a smug smile on a spendthrift's face or I merely repel people. That's me, I come with a price!

So, I'm defined by the quality of the cloth I'm associated with, the sartorial beauty of the piece or the name of the brand that radiates from the pal I tag along with. The catch here is - what is my value? Am I just a number? Just a numerical that happens to garner some regard the higher I get? I was watching the film, 'Pretty Woman' the other day, aired at the Prada store I was in, so the rejection Julia receives due to lack of money to afford that number, struck hard. I'm biased; I go to people who can spend, who can squander wealth, or who swipe credit cards like as if it's some game arcade where the maximum swipes win! Who am I? Pretty much like a Matt Damon in a 'Bourne Identity' moment!!
