Self-criticism starts when we keep procrastinating from performing important tasks, when we make our mind up to get up at a particular time but invariably miss it, when we decide to meditate and cannot sit for some reason or the other, when we choose to eat healthy and end up eating junk food, when we make a decision to exercise and miss it or when we give a time and always end up being late, etc…
When such incidents happen repeatedly, we attack ourselves and start thinking, “I am not good enough, my grammar is bad, I am incompetent, I can't manage time! I can't even do small jobs given to me; will I be always like that? I messed up my diet again - what a loser I am! Why don't I have control over myself?” …

Dancer, choreographer and teacher of Bharatanatyam, Smt. Revathi Ramachandran's repertoire has taken her to stages PAN India, Europe and America. She is the only exponent of 'Sudha Nrittam', an ancient temple dance revived by her Guru Mangudi Dorairaja Iyer. She has been the recipient of many awards and accolades including the prestigious Kalaimamani award.Apart from her cultural achievements, this master's degree holder in Economics, has also captained the Tamil Nadu Women's' Basketball team in early 80s.
