Life is too short to procrastinate. If you want to do something, then do it NOW.
One fine evening, I was sitting with my cousin on a cozy bean bag, talking about different things around the globe, and we put forward our innocent views on the topics. Our discussion then shifted to our bucket list and our fantasy about going on adventurous trips. Bungee jumping and a winter trek were on top of that list, but we had been postponing doing the same every year. Then suddenly, my brother jumped off the bag as if he'd had some Eureka moment, and asked, "Why not this year?"
Okay! So, after a lot of discussions, we decided to go for the winter trek. Being from a middle-class family, it was a bit challenging for us to ask for permission from our parents since it was a last-minute plan. After assuring them about our safety and about half an hour of discussion, they finally said yes! We then rushed to book tickets and prayed for the desired dates to be available. Within five minutes of surfing on various sites, we booked our tickets for the 12th of December for a trek to Kedarkantha in Uttarakhand with some organization. We were electrified at the thought of a winter trek at 13,000 ft. altitude and bungee jumping in Rishikesh. To think about experiencing snow, bungee jumping, the holy Maa Ganga River and so much more… our excitement was on a whole other level.
