The editor discovers a new target system that could become seriously addictive

We all enjoy a shooting challenge, don’t we? Well, I’ve found one that is not only a proper test of marksmanship, but it also tests your strategy, nerves and how good a shooter you are, all at the same time. I’ve only been playing with it for a week and the amount of ‘just one more go, then’ attempts I’ve done has been bordering on obsessive. Let me introduce you to the Snooker Challenge Target.

CLEVERLY BUILT TO LAST

I’ve been blatting away at the final preproduction prototype of this ingenious target since it was handed over to me for evaluation at my club. My first impressions were that this is a target built to last, thanks to its main construction being 2.5mm thick, powder-coated steel, with 3mm stainless steel used for the targets themselves, and the brackets that hold them to the 1.5mm fold-out plates that form its pellet-catching ‘sidewings’.
