Winners of the Hemel Hempstead CC 10-mile time trial on Saturday, Thomas Day and Francesca Hall, both have their eyes on future success in Europe.
Eighteen-year-old Day, who won a host of time trial titles as a junior, clocked a winning time of 18 minutes and 25 seconds on the A41 near Aylesbury.
“It was really good, I felt great and the course suited me,” said Day. “It wasn’t an ideal day for that course as the wind was not favourable but I still felt really good.”
