The sight of Rishabh Pant carrying drinks is making everyone uncomfortable including former cricketers and captains such as Kapil Dev and Virender Sehwag. While the former has suggested that Pant use any opportunity available although few have been forthcoming until now, the latter has once again raised the old bone of contention when Mahendra Singh Dhoni was captain.
There has been a fair mix of goodwill and resentment towards Dhoni in recent years. These have been exacerbated by players who have had the chance to play under multiple captains, Dhoni included. Virender Sehwag threw in his two cents worth of speculation while raking up the issue he had with the former captain.
