IPL 2021 saw some exceptional batting and bowling performances. In T20s though fielding is an extremely important aspect of the game as well. Like every year, this season too had some amazing fielding efforts. Some of them have even changed the course of matches. However, the 14th edition of the league was postponed after the emergence of Covid-19 cases within the tournament. The remaining matches would be played once the situation improves in India. 5. RAVI BISHOI
Punjab Kings (PBKS) leggie Ravi Bishoi may be in the team for his bowling. But he has taken two absolute blinders in the tournament so far. In the match against KKR, he took what many are describing as the catch of IPL 2021 so far. Sunil Narine heaved one up in the air off Arshdeep Singh. It seemed the ball would land safely. However, Bishnoi ran to his right from deep midwicket and put in a stretched dive to catch the ball just before it could touch the ground. Bishnoi was so pleased with the catch, he kept running in celebration. In the game against RCB, he pulled off another stunner. This time, Harshal Patel lofted Mohammed Shami to long-off's right. Bishnoi judged the ball and lunged forward to grab the catch inches off the ground.
