Georgia Hall is only 26 years old, but she's already achieved so much in her career. The Englishwoman won the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit and Player of the Season accolades in both 2017 and 2018. The latter year was especially memorable for Hall as she claimed her maiden Major in the AIG Women's Open at Royal Lytham & St Annes. Since then, she's also triumphed on the LPGA Tour, in the 2020 Cambia Portland Classic.
Hall has also been a pivotal member of the European Solheim Cup team over the last few years. She made her debut in 2017 as Europe lost on American soil, but played a starring role at Gleneagles in 2019, winning four points from a possible four. She also contributed two points in 2021 as Europe won in the USA for just the second time.
Here, Hall discusses her favourite events, her career to date, the state of the women's game and the golfing landscape as a whole...
What event do you most look forward to over the course of the season?
The AIG Women's Open is my favourite event of the whole year, wherever it is. Obviously, playing at home is very special to me - having the support of the spectators and having friends and family watching. It's the most enjoyable week of the year. I think for US players, their biggest one is the US Open and for people like me and other players it's the AIG Women's Open. To me, it's the biggest event of the whole year and the one that I always want to win regardless. Even though I have won it before, it's still the most important one to me.
And is it even more special returning as a past champion after your success in 2018?

Is it Time for the Presidents Cup to Be Scrapped? - The next instalment of the USA v Internationals match takes place in Canada at the end of September. But should the one-sided affair continue?
The next instalment of the USA v Internationals match takes place in Canada at the end of September. But should the one-sided affair continue? Why would anyone even suggest such a drastic course of action? It may sound harsh, but since the inaugural event in 1994, the International team has managed just one victory and one tie while the American team has won 12 times, including nine straight from 2005. It is 26 years since the International team's solitary success in 1998 at Royal Melbourne under the captaincy of the late Peter Thomson.
