David Youngman sees the season change at Headquarters
WITH the leaves falling and the days getting shorter we are now in the last throes of the Flat racing season and we recently had our last work morning on the Limekilns.
How I have loved and enjoyed my time out there early mornings this year, what wonderful horses and jockeys I have had the pleasure of witnessing performing, it is the work and detail that go into it that make so much difference when a horse go off to race, I can’t wait for the Spring when it starts all over again for the 2018 season. It is an exciting time towards the end of March when the horses pull out to go over the racecourse side to do the first serious work of the year, we always see then if our horses have progressed during the winter.
