Raiders’ opponents revealed for 2021
Las Vegas will face six teams next season who were in the playoffs this year: Kansas City, Baltimore, Washington, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis. The Raiders split a pair of games against the Chiefs this season, beat the Browns for one of their few quality wins, and lost to the Colts.
Additionally, there’s a game against 10-win Miami on the schedule next year as well. The Dolphins, of course, beat the Raiders in dramatic fashion after getting the ball on their own 25 with 19 seconds remaining.
Because Las Vegas plays Kansas City twice, seven of the 16 scheduled games will be against playoff teams. A 17th could be coming as the NFL mulls extending the season by one game, although it’s expected to be an inter-conference matchup.
Not everything is so daunting. The Raiders play six teams (Broncos, Chargers, Bengals, Eagles, Cowboys and Giants) who had losing records in 2020.
Here’s how the schedule breaks down. Dates and times will be announced later this year.
Home: Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals, Eagles, Washington, Dolphins.
Away: Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, Browns, Cowboys, Giants, Steelers, Colts.

NEWS & NOTES
The Raiders had one of the easier schedules in 2020 and got only eight wins to show for it. Things won’t get any easier in 2021, either.
Looking back at 2020 season
The 2020 season will absolutely be remembered for being one of the strangest and most disappointing in franchise history.
Gruden feeling the heat?
“I know there is a big bull’s-eye on my chest, certainly. If the people want to use that as an incentive, then so be it. I worked for Al Davis in 1998. That was pressure. I was 34 years old. I’ve dealt with pressure before. I don’t really feel pressure. I love the excitement and thrill of competing, and I can’t worry about things I can’t control in that regard. I know people will want to step on me and beat me, and that is just the way this league is.”
