Although we currently reside in a society immersed in fear, anguish and uncertainty, one still must try and maintain some sort of continuity and, if feasible, extract some positives from an otherwise awful situation. Having had our daily routines reduced to sleeping, eating, and exercise could be utopia for some, and utter hell for others!
However you perceive this global pause, we can’t argue the fact that the current restrictions have gifted us all with a precious and otherwise costly commodity, namely, time – and for most, quality time, spent with the immediate family, especially where the young fry are considered. For me, having my son around is fabulous, as we share some similar likes and pastimes, including shooting! Daughter is equally good, although her escape route terminates at the stables, where most of her time is spent with the usual neverending graft, supposedly required for the management of the nags… not sure she is sharing my perspective!
