The Reese’s Senior Bowl will host some of the top prospects in the nation as they showcase their talents, abilities, and intangibles over the course of a week in front of all 32 teams. It is one of the most unique opportunities for a player to show what he can do on the field in pads against a live opponent. This has made players millions of dollars in the grand scheme of things and it has sealed teams’ outlooks and impacted their draft classes enormously. Here are a few players the Giants will be looking hard at considering what we know about the kinds of players Joe Judge is searching for.
Nick Harris / OC / Washington
Even before the injury to starting OC Jon Halapio in Week 17, the middle of the Giants’ offensive line was a major weak point entering this offseason. Saquon Barkley rarely had any space to work with inside and Daniel Jones consistently had pressure coming right at him. Harris is part of an OC class that could bring four or five Week 1 starters into the league. He is an elite athlete for the position with the footwork and balance to reach the second level in a blink. He plays a feisty, physical brand with a lot of experience and intelligence. Harris can be a Day 2 target who makes this team better right away.
Ben Bartch / OL / Saint John’s
