A number of our on-loan players have impressed for their respective clubs since the season’s restart.
Brandon Austin continues to shine as the starting goalkeeper for Danish NordicBet Liga side Viborg FF and kept his first clean sheet recently in a 1-0 victory away to Skive.
The 21-year-old was actually the first Spurs player to return to action after lockdown, helping his team take a point from a 1-1 home draw against the same opposition on 29 May.
He made his ninth consecutive league start in last weekend’s 4-2 home win over HB Koge. Viborg host Nykøbing this evening.
Elsewhere, centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers has been in good form in a starting role for Luton Town since the restart. Last weekend, he helped the Hatters claim a vital 1-0 victory away to one of his former loan clubs, Swansea City, as they look to beat the drop from the Championship.
Central midfielder Luke Amos started Queens Park Rangers’ first match following the resumption of Championship proceedings in June, a 1-0 home defeat to Barnsley, before featuring off the bench in a subsequent defeat by the same scoreline at Charlton Athletic last weekend. Jack Clarke was an unused substitute in both matches for QPR.
