But then, why expect good luck in a pandemic?
Just a couple of games from midseason, Washington is already looking weary. The classic quarterback debate is back. Coach Ron Rivera has fans divided over several decisions and reverses his rebuild motto for a quick-win scheme that is already 0-1. Good thing there are no fans or they’d once again boo the team off the field.
Patience? What do you expect from a town that every four years looks for change. The drums beat for everyone from the president to the punter in this town. Win or get out. The revolving doors spin like a storm of change is blowing them quickly.
Rivera isn’t willing to concede the NFC East title just yet. After all, the winner might only be 7-9. But then, what does that matter if this team can’t win?
