If you have followed OnePlus over the years, you know how OnePlus phones have been called as flagship killers. And truth be told, killers they were. However, to achieve that affordable price point for a good phone, OnePlus had to cut some corners by leaving out some features that are now a mainstay in competitive phones. Not anymore though. OnePlus has finally brought long-sought features like a waterproof design and wireless charging but is it too little too late considering there are other options in the market at a similar price range? Let’s find out.

OnePlus makes good looking smartphones and OnePlus 8 Pro follows the same footsteps. The phone’s design is not radical or revolutionary but aesthetically pleasing. The front puts all the attention on the gigantic display while the back attracts with the matte-frosted finish that has a higher degree of haze compared to last year’s device. Do note, the matte-frosted finish only comes with Glacial Green and Ultramarine Blue colour options. In other words, the phone looks beautiful and with a curved screen and rounded edges, the phone’s continuous design flows nicely and has a good feel when you’re holding in the hands. The OnePlus 8 Pro is also IP68 certified, making it safe from water and dust.
